Okay, while I understand the point of view of people against the various wars happening around the planet, I don't necessarily agree with them. You know, it's okay to have an opinion, either way. But I have to admit I'm kind of baffled by people complaining about the use of unmanned vehicles to, well, let's put this bluntly, kill people.
It might seem silly, but we've all taken basic algebra. We know how to simplify equations. If the result is killing people either way, with or without drones, and your problem is with killing people, not with drones, why not remove drones from the equation? Why not just say, hey, we think killing people sucks. Stoppit already. I gather you wouldn't be so upset if the drones were, you know, delivering your mail, making you dinner, and so on, so your fault is with the action, the results, not the method. It's simply a false dichotomy.
What really irks me is I've been avoiding the news because I don't want to hear anything about a certain dead blacpop star, and I've entirely missed the fact that McNamara passed away. The man was a fucking titan, people. And you're talking about some fool dead of a drug overdose that was self-administered? Do people just not have any sense anymore?
