Applied Statistics

I think I have an idea of what my next perl module will be. I'm going to have to write k-means, k-means++, and x-means in perl. If you can guess what I'm doing at work these days, you win extra credit. I am aware that several implementations of k-means actually exist in perl, but let's not mince words. They suck ass. SciPy has a great one. And of course, Mahout has a reasonably good implementation (and lots of cool shit to boot).

What is a meaningful intersection between my past work on TDMA and machine learning? I'm guessing it's decryption. But I'll shut up for now.
